A very small moth (12mm length); pale grass colour with few tiny dark flecks; at rest the wings are rolled into a tube shape and the head is always held down. The head looks well disguised with pale eyes and facial fur.
Habitat:
Mature grasses.
Notes:
Crambinae
Mesolia sp.
This little creature is always found face down and tail up.
Is it trying to mimic grass heads like a seed or bract or empty husk?
