Notes:

i found this skull in a tree hole. Someone had a good meal in there. No trace left of the body. My guess is this head belongs to a Musk Shrew.
Need help.

:) i didn't know that shrews were not rodents.... thanks for the info corduneanuVlad. now this could be a field mouse.... very common other than musk shrews. @ emily, emma was quick to invite to osteology section... felt nice to see such mission. i hope some osteologist can pin an id to it. :)

I don't think it's a shrew because shrews are insectivores, this is the skull of a rodent.

its done :) osteology mission... very creative... :) then there must be missions like pug mark mission, scat mission, exuvia mission, feather mission, etc. :) would love to see them too.
