Field Notes

Description:

Males have an iridescent black with a purplish sheen. Both sexes have yellow eyes. The size is between a crow and starling. The female is brown. Males have an amazing range of vocal calls.

Habitat:

Spotted on a farm fence in Mission, Texas.
