Please, add the scientific name as well...
There is obviously a 5th species in US: Hemaris thetis. Geographical range would fit. However, I think yours is neverthless Diffinis, since Thetis has more reddish stripes/veins and the body is creamy/whitish and not brownish like yours and Diffinis. There are only 4 species in the US: Thysbe (browner wings), Diffinis, Senta (New Mexico) and Gracilis (more reddish and white stripe above the red ring).
