Description:

Some sort of lichen? with a web or cocoon below it. I am just learning my plants and fungi and would love to know the ID.
Was spotted in North Florida at Falling Waters State Park.

thank you caldasrafa, I think you hit it dead on. @Argybee, this one was about 4 1/2 inches long, and after viewing photos of the Trametes versicolor, I do believe that is what it is.
It seems Trametes versicolor with spider web
Looks complex for a lichen. What's the size? Looks like it's detached from top?
