Description:

This Fall Armyworm Larva was in some dry grass. It was about 1 inch long. Spodoptera is a genus of moths of the Noctuidae family. Many are known as pest insects. The larvae are sometimes called armyworms (Wikipedia).

Habitat:

Suburban house garden, Sebastopol, CA.
