Field Notes

Description:

Yellowish-brown in color as shown, usually with a black dot near the edge of the middle of each elytron (wing cover). Size approximately 22-23 mm.

Habitat:

Found clinging to a window screen at a motel at night, attracted to outdoor lights. Surrounding habitat is grassland with juniper.
