Description:

Platycerium bifurcatum, commonly known as the Elkhorn Fern, is a Platycerium species of fern. It is native to southeastern Australia, in New South Wales, Queensland, and on Lord Howe Island. It is a bracket epiphyte occurring in and near rainforests. Platycerium bifurcatum is very widely cultivated as an ornamental plant for gardens.
