Description:
A humble pigeon found cooing in a city park. Feral pigeons can show a variety of plumages. They are issued of a cross between escapee domestic pigeons and rock pigeons, but some have the same double-barred pattern as the pure rock pigeon. The pure wild species is often found in mountain regions.
Habitat:
A park in the center of Paris. Feral pigeons are found in large numbers in cities and towns all over the world.
Notes:
A distinctive white cere is located on top of the pigeon’s beak.
