Field Notes

Description:

Small jumping spider with a very enlarged abdomen (gravid). Dark carapace, brown abdomen with tan/yellow markings. Hind three pair of legs yellowish. Front pair of legs have dark femora.

Habitat:

Thick plant growth bordering a grassy clearing.
