Description:

This is a truly beautiful mushroom, and in these pictures, you can see them in many phases of development. The spore "petals" are especially amazing. The stalk is long and thick.

Habitat:

Edge of Woodland, near a dirt road that is traveled frequently. Early autumn, late summer.
