Description:

The body length on this female hoverfly is 12mm. The female forehead has a large broad gray dust spot. The thorax is shiny metallic and light hairy. The abdomen has white spot pairs. The front tibia is yellow with a black ring and the antennae are black.

Habitat:

Open forest on a Wild Angelica.

Notes:
