Field Notes

Description:

Head and back color pattern just a bit different than usual garden spider. Found him while doing some shrub work in our front yard. I thought we had paralyzed him or broke a leg because mom quickly and frantically rubbed him off her pants. He had a hard time moving around, but as I played with him for a few seconds he regained himself and was good to go. Wasn’t a happy camper though.
