Description:

dabbling duck and winter resident of my area. The green stripe on the male's head is almost as bright as the head of a mallard. The female is moreplain(see background of photo 2)

Habitat:

city park with a large flock

Notes:

The llight was reflecting the green on the males' heads nicely
