Description:
Small (about 8 mm in length) black-and-red true bug (Heteroptera), resembling Firebug with whom is often confused.
Habitat:
This is a species linked to the heat and warmer climates, and in Europe it is very common in Mediterranean zone - further north found in so-called "heat-islands". Here, observed in suburbs of Lyon, in a gardens bordering forested area.
