My garden is too dry for them, it hardly ever rains here, normally just a few days in Spring and a few in Autumn. They winter along the coasts around marshes and spend summer up in the mountains by well-wooded streams or fly further north to Scandinavia.
They will soon visit your garden too Malcolm ! :-)
Thanks Atul, after not having seen these for years they are everywhere this winter except in my garden!
