What a pity. Looks reasonably young too. It may be a RTA as their thick coats often hide the injuries.
Not real sure. He was by the side of the road, but didn't look like he had been hit by a car. He looked like he just laid down and went to sleep. Didn't look super old or any other signs. Called the DNR and reported. Up to them to figure out what happened.
Hi D Royal - what is the story here? Did this wolf die from natural causes?
