I have 2 ID's for this butterfly, Common Bushbrown and Dark-brand Bushbrown. Can anyone clarify it, or is there not enough info in the photos. What to do about the ID in na case like this?
Or Common Bushbrown (Mycalesis perseus) DSF; difficult at least for me to distinguish them.
Wow, Monsoon in February up there... Ours is not expected till October. We get the east coast monsoon, so a long way to go!
hope monsoon will reach there soon. we had heavy monsoon rains last week !
Hi Nuwan, Yes, dry season indeed. Almost no monsoon this year unfortunately, and that should have been in Oct/Dec! People outside Tiruvannamalai will soon have to start buying water, I fear! Not only that, we are daily having 9 hrs of power cuts out of the 24 at the moment! Thanks for that ID. I was wondering if it was that, after searching a bit on the net.
