Description:

Found this greenback sea turtle hanging out on some rocks in a small inlet. He did not seem threatened by us at all.

Habitat:

Coastal areas.

I'm not sure Keith. We watched it for about 20-30 minutes then it went back in the water. I don't know much about their behavior to tell you the truth.
That seems like odd behavior unless its egg laying season for females, sure it wasn't sick?
I snorkeled behind one for a while and it never seemed bothered by me. They are so fun to watch.
I have scubaed with these guys. They are so graceful in the water.
