Field Notes

Description:

The Buckfast bee is bred by Brother Adam in Devon, England to be a healthy and friendly, yet productive bee, well suitable for beginner beekeepers.
They do have their protective instincts, but they do "ask before they sting", if they've got a good and friendly queen.

Habitat:

Buckfast bees are very popular among beekeepers in Sweden, and I guess all over Europe.
