Field Notes

Description:

About 8 inches across, growing in shelving layers, one atop another. Top, light brown with cream bands.

Habitat:

Found growing on dead stump of a Chinese Tallow tree in shade.

Notes:

It was in deep shade beneath a Cherry laurel.
