Thank you for the ID, Brian38 Mt Diablo is being considered for National Park status. It was deeming with wild life ,once upon a time.Bears,Badgers, weasels, wolves etc are gone. The rains has rejuvenated it to some extent.Today I saw some people hand gliding over the mountains.
A beautiful picture of Trametes versicolor (turkey tail). The foothills of MT. Diablo is obviously an incredible place. Like to visit there someday, especially Yosemite National Park. It also appears you found the road less traveled. Well done-great pic also.
