thanks for the species ID! I had trouble with this one...
Guess what... the original photo is up. Thank you all for assuming the worst instead of just asking. The screen that I took these from is my own. Got a new phone and was playing with my Noah app. So sorry that this has made you all so angry. I LIVE in Texas, that's where I UPLOADED the picture. And yes, I do spot in Texas. Look at some of my other pics.
Hi elaurynharper. Please can you respond to Lar's comment below. All of your photos look like they have been taken from a screen, & if you aren't able to confirm you are the original photographer we will need to delete them.
Difficult for us to tell - since this picture was obviously taken from screen. Should be an easy one for elaurynharper - the report on TV should have told him which species... To come to the point: elaurynharper, stop submitting TV/Screen-captured photos. This is not only far away form the idea of Project Noah, this is also validating copyrights in an unacceptable way.
Difficult to tell but it also resembles a gladiolus flower.
I agree--possibly canna.
As far I've seen, that one might be Canna hybrida, but I'm not 100% sure. :) Hope it can help!
