Fruits of garden shrub. I post this pic times and again in hope that someone will help me with identity.

No..this plant is not from Sorbus genus..I would better post a picture of the bush
The rowans or mountain-ashes are shrubs or small trees in genus Sorbus of family Rosaceae. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rowan

Could you post a photo of the tree/bush these are growing on?
Do people eat this? Or is it just ornamental? It looks like a fruit?
