Field Notes

Description:

this bird is a dark grey with white cheeks and black around his eyes. I love his face, I wish I had a better camera to capture how pretty it is. If you look closely you can see just a hint of yellow on the bottom side of his wing, I don't know if it goes all the way to his breast or is just under his wings.

Habitat:

Backyard suet feeder.

Notes:

This is the first time I have seen this bird and he hasn't been back in a few days.
