Description:

Photo take at -30 ft in a Caribbean reef. About 9 cm long covered by numerous blue, broken stripes formed of dashes and dots, black spots and sporting a variety of shades of gray, tan, brown and olive, the scrawled filefish pales or darkens its skin to blend with its background.

Habitat:

Found around the world in tropical areas in America from Florida all the Caribbean sea to Brazil.

Notes:

This Filefish as i approach, it bite the rope and stay still moving like a see weed in the current to confuse me, really amazing self protection technique.
