Description:

A White-breasted Nuthatch spotted near the Huntley Meadows Park Visitor Center, Fairfax County, Virginia USA. The Cornell Lab of Ornithology "All About Birds" Web site lists the White-breasted Nuthatch as one of seven species similar to the Downy Woodpecker.
