Description:
A medium sized robust spider with a very rough appearance resembling the bark of certain trees. They are usually approx. 40mm spread. They often choose to nest in the hollow of a lost tree branch which has formed a shallow circular dent.
Habitat:
Very coarse barked trees such as casuarina, some pines, some acacia, not often on eucalyptus. This one is on a casuarina (Casuarina obesa?)
