Description:

The coconut tree is a member of the family Arecaceae and the only species of the genus Cocos.Coconut trees can be dwarf and tall. Dwarf coconut trees can reach 20 to 60 feet in height, while tall coconut trees grow to the height of 98 feet.

Habitat:

grown widely in the tropical areas around the world. It is found in the Asian continent, Central and South America and Africa.
