This Anna's hummingbird was feeding on the Mexican sage then flew to canna blossoms to sing.

Habitat:

FedEx office landscaping, Emeryville, CA.

that is true, I got lucky with this one--it let me get about 10ft from it.

It depends a lot on the light If the light is not right you cannot capture their beauty.

Awesome Emma--I have a feeder next to my window and see them every day, but is is difficult to get a good photo of them.

I just put a hummingbird feeder up. Lowes was selling those last year as a part of their grand opening for 1.99 . Pet stores sell these for a ridiculous price of 22 dollars. am very excited though . just obtained nectar recipe from my neighbor.
