Description:

The length of the neck (~1.5x body length), length of the bill, and colour of the bill make this one a non-breeding Great Egret.

Habitat:

beside a river in mixed habitat, of mangroves, rainforest & open grassland.

Thanks Daniele. That clears that up! And thanks Sukanya also. I was confused by the non-breeding colour, I think. But I was pretty sure it was a Great Egret.

I see Cattle egrets all the time...this one has a longer neck.
