Description:

This planthopper with little red eyes was drawn to the porch light.

Habitat:

Seen in an urban area at night.

Notes:

Species name derives from the shape of its head.

Cool shot Mauna. And I also agree with you. S. acuta has red dots on the back edge and corners of their wings which yours doesn't. They are very similar.
