Long-Legged Fly spotted on a rose leaf in my mom's garden in Sacramento, CA.

Habitat:

Suburban house flower garden.

Thank you for the ID LivanEscudero--I think you nailed it with Condylostylus longicornis!
These are hard to get down to species, but I can tell you it is a Longlegged Fly. Most likely in the Subfamily Sciapodinae. If that is so I'm taking a guess that in California it's probably Condylostylus longicornis http://bugguide.net/node/view/146478 But see others here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/12491/bgpage
