Field Notes

Description:

Black jumping spider with white pattern on abdomen. Metallic green coloring on chelicrae. Approximately 3/4 inches (1.5cm) in length. Two large forwad facing eyes, 4 other smaller eyes set apart in pairs.

Habitat:

Daytime, interior/exterior of enclosed garage.

Notes:

Large and active in daytime, moves in a jumping manner. Most likely hunting for other arthropods in the garage.
