Description:

The canary-the-earth-true or canary-the-earth (Sicalis flaveola) is a species of bird in the Emberizidae family. Originally from South America, is found in Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. In Brazil, we can find it in Maranhao, Minas Gerais, Piaui, Ceara, Pernambuco, Bahia, Espirito Santo, Santa Catarina, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Sao Paulo, Parana, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul and Goiás .
