Field Notes

Description:

One was eating a fly, 2 where mating, and one was injured. They have 2 small eyes (one on each side of the head). They have clear, veined wings, 6 legs, and short antennae. Blue thorax with black stripes.

Habitat:

Pond, with trees nearby, in city, near highway.

Notes:

Damselflies spend most of their life underwater.
