You're absolutely right, NatralList. It's pathetic the way that they ended up on Hawaii. Supposedly, a Jamaican population of mongooses was introduced to the big island hundreds of years ago...
Hey, Doug, this mongoose would be a nice addition to my Alien Species mission: https://www.projectnoah.org/missions/17638321. The small Asian mongoose is a big problem on the Hawaiian islands as it impacts the native bird population.
