Description:

Sea anemone marine Anthozoa, spotted here when they are closed - they will open in water. Not sure which species this one is. Found among many brown/red algae.

Habitat:

Temperate region of the scottish seaside at St Andrews, they use a disc to anchor to the rock, here they are sunbathing!
