Beautiful bright blue long tail. It was under a piece of wood i picked up.

First time I ever saw one of these was in Palestine, TX in 1987. Lightning fast. I was able to catch one that had gotten into a fiberglass shower and it was too slick to escape. No iPhones back then, so photos. Merely touching them causes the tail to fall off immediately... and the tail not only wiggles for a long time, it quickly comes apart, with each segment also wiggling - quite the diversionary tactic. A strikingly beautiful creature.
