Skink

Plestiodon sp.

Hi 21ddelacruz! Cryptoblepharus egeriae is not found in the US. This is a Plestiodon species. You usually cannot tell the different Plestiodon species apart with inspecting their upper lip scales and/or the scales under their tails. It is either broadhead or five-lined skink, so you can leave the scientific name as Plestiodon sp. Younger individuals of this genus all look similar with a blue tail and stripes.
