Description:
Had seen many "couples" of these turtles in mid February. Must be mating season for them.
Habitat:
Photographed at 6 Mile Cypress Slough Nature Preserve in Ft Myers Florida. Aquatic turtles.
Notes:
No shortage of these aquatic turtles in SW florida. They appear to be vegitarian. Have seen many grazing on aquatic plants.
