Field Notes

Description:

One of the Oyster Mushrooms, Pleurotus. Golden-brownish, bright gilled fungus, adult with a leathery cap's texture, growing next to and on very old oak deadwood. Color depends on localization - the more sun, the darker and browner they are. With getting older, the texture becomes more greyish and pale.
