Description:

About 6 inches. This barbet eats many fruits and some insects. Makes nests in abandoned nesting holes made by woodpeckers and also make their own nesting holes in rotting trees just like a woodpecker.

Habitat:

Spotted near my home eating a ripe wild cucumber.
