Description:

Vining legume with purple flowers.

Habitat:

Likely origin New Guinea.

Notes:

Also called Goa bean.

I planted it in the spring. Has finally reached full production. Needs cooler nights to set fruit. Leaves, pods, seeds and tubers are edible. Seeds and tubers high protein.
