Description:
It has a continuous dorsolateral fold that extends from the eye to the thigh. The dorsal color is brown with some green, and it usually lacks a dark blotch or spot on the snout. The snout is pointed and the skin is relatively smooth. The belly is pale. (information from "A Field Guide to Oklahoma's Amphibians and Reptiles")

Notes:
It's a little early, but the leopard frogs and a few chorus frogs have begun to call in my area. This particular spotting included around a dozen different frogs calling and wrestling around. I saw several different egg masses, so the group is more than just a bunch of rambunctious boys. :-)
