Field Notes

Description:

Is a species of succulent. Stemless or very short stemmed succulent that grows 60-100 cm tall. Leaves are thick and fleshy green to grey green. The margin of the leaf is serrated.

Habitat:

Aloe Vera can survive in areas of low natural rain fall making it ideal for rocketed and other low water use gardens.

Notes:

Used in herbal medicine and widely used in the cosmetics and alternative medicine industries being marketed as variously having rejuvenating, healing or soothing properties. ( personally use aloe Vera for sunburns, burns or cuts - fantastic)
