Field Notes

Description:

A tufting sedge to 80cm with lime green foliage and yellowish brown inflorescence that stand above foliage in spring/summer. Grows in a wide variety of habitats but especially wet places. Distributed across most of Australia, New Zealand, PNG and Java.

Habitat:

Creeks, dams, wetlands, drainage channels and forest floors in periodically inundated locations.
