Field Notes

Notes:

A brush turkey in its nest on Mount Coolum, Queensland. The second shot shows the full nest - it stretches from one side of the shot to the other. Brush turkeys rake up leaves into a huge compost mound for their nests, leaving the surrounding ground clear. They can make a serious mess of your garden!
