Description:

Anhinga. Excellent underwater swimmer, where it hunts fish, frogs, crayfish etc.

Habitat:

wetlands, lakes, ocean

Notes:

Common aquatic bird in sw Florida. Fun to watch as it swims underwater in search of prey, often popping just its head out of water like a turtle. Suns itself with wings widespread to dry out before it can fly.

Added new pics. Same bird, same tree, different day. Having trouble adding more than 2 pics at a time, per spotting. When I try to add a third, website says 100%, but doesnt add pic. Hmmmm...?
