Field Notes

Description:

This variable leaf beetle can be red, green, yellow, brown or entirely black.
They usually have two circular marks on either side of the centre line on the pronotum. They usually have strong spotting along the puncturation striae on the disc of the elytra.

Habitat:

On manna gum along roadside

Notes:

A common beetle but hard to resist offering another photo.
